Packaging: 10/10. The earrings arrive in a nice, velvet lined box. The package comes with a polishing cloth, a small blank note card & envelope, and watch pair of earrings is in its own little bag. The note card is a really cute touch, these would be perfect as a gift!
Earring Design Quality: 10/10. I can be a bit of a snob regarding earring design, and the designs implemented in this set bypassed my expectations. IMO, the best earring studs are either flat-back or press-fit as they provide the most comfort by not stabbing your neck when you apply pressure to your ear. These earrings are flat-backed, but what surpassed my expectations was their attention to detail. Earrings like these can be difficult to install when attempting to screw the tiny disk onto the back of the stud. However, the disks on these earrings are concave in the center so the earring post is actually guided into the hole you screw them into! I’ve bought many flat-back earrings but had never seen that detail before, and it genuinely helped make it so easy to screw the together! The designs are also beautiful with a good variety.
Material Quality: 10/10. I’ve been wearing these earrings for a week now and they’ve worn perfectly with no green staining or irritation. I’ve slept in them, worked out in them, and showered in them so they’ve been tested thoroughly with no issues at all. All of the gemstones have stayed secure in their setting and they’ve been very durable. They’ve worn just as well as my implant grade titanium studs so I quite literally don’t have any complaints! For transparency purposes I ordered the 14K White Gold color option, which is not available anymore at the time I’m writing this review.
Piercing history for context: I had my lobes pierced 5 and 2 years ago, both done at a piercing studio with a needle. I was pierced with titanium studs and kept them in for the duration of the healing process with no complications. My ears would react to cheap piercings, and I’d find that most cheap earrings I would try would turn my ears green. In order to test the quality of these earrings I wore them in one ear while keeping my old jewelry in my other ear as a control, and can confirm that these earrings wore perfectly and did not cause any irritation to my piercing channels.
Overall, I was more than impressed with the quality of these earrings. Not only are they priced fantastically, but they’re better than any jewelry I’ve bought outside of a piercing shop (and they’re just as good at the ones from the shop too)! The attention to detail from the packaging to the jewelry design is top notch. 100/10 recommend!
