Sure, this is a economy priced watch, but it passes for something more costly. I don’t know how they build this watch for the listed price. It’s substantial and heavy in feel and in build. The green color on mine is vibrant with the outlines of the numbers on the face being raised. There’s depths to the case, adding to the diver style of this watch. The blue moon phase complication is a very nice addition. The bezel rotates with clicking. It could be a little smoother and lighter, but more expensive watches don’t always have a rotating bezel, but are fixed. I haven’t noticed a lot of illumination on this or it doesn’t last long. That doesn’t bother me much because with more expensive watches that advertise illumination, is still fades out in a little while. More importantly, in regular light, this is an easy watch to read.
The band on this one is stainless steel links and the surfaces are rounded for the most part with minimal rough edges making the watch comfortable to wear. I like the button release on the clasp. It’s just quick and easy to put on and takeoff. The package comes with what I call pin pusher so that you can adjust the band easily yourself. There are arrows on the band, indicating which way to push the pin out. I adjusted the band size on this to fit in about 20 minutes taking my time.
The watch came set to the right time and date. That wasn’t exactly necessary, but is noteworthy nonetheless. The two additional buttons on the side activate a timer, which are the other complications on the face. This watch is available in many colors and designs in this price range which makes it possible to have watches that match your dress daily without spending a fortune.
I wore this watch one time to an event last night and the first person who saw it commented about how nice it was. I rarely get comments on $500 watches that I have. I think the fit and finish presents well and the bright color makes it noticeable. I’m pleased with this watch.
