Areza Sacral wound dressing is made of a silicone wound contact layer, three layer ultra-absorbent pad, and polyurethane film backing.
It promotes optimal moist wound healing, provides superior absorption of wound drainages (exudate/discharge).
The self-adherent non-sensitizing silicone adhesive border makes it comfortable to use and ensures gentle but durable adherence to skin.
Ideal for sacral decubitus wounds or pressure ulcers, with any level of discharge (dry wounds, as well wounds with mild, moderate, or heavy discharge), it is vapor permeable, waterproof, and acts as a physical barrier to external contamination.
This item is a popular tool in wound care to help with prevention and treatment of pressure ulcer, also called decubitus ulcer, or bedsore, also called: ulceras de presión in Spanish.
Wound care products and wound dressings are also called: bandages, gauze, wound bandages, wound care dressings, wound care pads, wound gauze, aposito, curita, and parche, vendaje. In general wound dressings are used to provide traditional or moist wound therapy or management in order to expedite or help with wound healing.
