I’ve been collecting small jewelry cases lately, and I must say, this may be the nicest I’ve found. I also have this same design in brown leather, and it feels much less substantial than the burgundy case I just received. I would describe the color as more oxblood than burgundy, so cooler and not quite as rich as one might expect, but I actually love this color and find it more neutral. The interior is the same flocked fabric used in most of these small cases, but the underlying structure seems thicker, sturdier, and of higher quality. I do wish there were more holes for stud earrings, but I’ve found that studs can also be tucked into the ring holders, so there’s actually plenty of room for them. Likewise, drop earrings on wires can be hung on the hooks for pendants (even doubling up, with both earrings and pendant on one hook). The dividers can be removed to hold a couple of bracelets or brooches (do people still wear brooches?). The leather (which is very much the real thing!) smells wonderful and feels thicker than on similar cases, with a softly padded lid and smooth, gold-toned zipper. If I had a bone to pick, it would be the failure to match the color of the zipper to the leather . . . but the white against the oxblood is really not that bad. I tend to travel with just a few small pieces of jewelry, so this little case is the perfect size for me, even for longer trips of several weeks. Those who coordinate jewelry with every outfit might find this sufficient for an overnight trip. But really, I think most anyone could find a good use for such a lovely, small case, whether to hold small sub-collections or to distribute estate jewelry to family, and, of course, it would make a very welcome gift. At its current price of $20, it’s a very good value. Highly recommended!

I love this. It makes it hasty to have all my favorite jewels organized and ready to put on or ready to parch for a trip. Small, compact well utilized space for the size. Color is a perfect neutral. Looks nice and good quality.

I love that the necklaces don’t get twisted. And there are pockets for bracelets and my watch bands. Really very well organized and doesn’t take up much room.
