I am in love! 😍 I can never find conventional shoes that fit all my toes without sizing up ridiculously. I used to be in love with Altra shoes, but lately I've had fit issues in even their widest style. For a fraction of the price, I decided to try these. Because even if they don't last quite as long, I could buy so many pairs of these vs one pair of altras.
These are perfect for so many activities: the gym, casual daily wear, casual office wear, running errands. And they look like normal shoes at a glance. I first tried the men's barefoot version of these shoes and they fit, but were slightly big; and yet, I still wore them as my daily shoes for well over a year. The quality seems to be similar to the other style shoe, so I expect them to last just as long.
Many people claim they have no arch support, and that's likely true. I have rigid arches and tend to have issues if the shoe has too much arch support or too stiff of a heel cup (like hoka). The thin insole is removable if one needs to replace it with something more supportive.
The toe box is truly wide. The heel is a bit wide as well, but there is a collar padding to help make that not an issue.
Just be aware if one isn't used to zero drop (flat, no heel) shoes, there can be a sometimes significant adjustment period until the tendons and muscles get used to the new position.
